Although quite rare in mint state, the 1892-S is usually fully struck and lusterous with lower grade specimens quite common. This 92-S has seen some good circulation and has bought a few things in it's 107 years. DMPL's and PL's are extremely rare.

Generally this issue is weakly struck but with good luster. This 94-O is showing a nice periphery tone around the rim with some luster still remaining. DMPL and PL's are extremely rare for this issue.

Usally this issue has a touch of weakness in the strike, although it can vary from full to moderately weak. Luster is generally good. High grade uncirculated specimens with full strikes are quite scarce for this relatively high mintage issue of 5,000,000 and apparently most were released into circulation like the 1896-O after four years of low mintages. A few minor die varieties exist but none are significant except the Vam-5 showing S/S with a large shift to the northeast. Prooflikes are very rare with little to no contrast.

Although scarce in mint state, the 1903-S can be found with a full strike and good luster. DMPL and PL's are extremely rare and when encountered, have little to no contrast.

Plentiful mintage date, but with prooflike mirrors and any degree of contrast, a true enigma.

"Alligator Eye" Vam-12 Doubled Die Obverse "Top 100" Variety. The vertical line marking the front of Liberty's eye is doubled by another parrallel line to the right of the first. The word "Liberty" in the head is also doubled,, as are the tops of the letters in "PLURIBUS. Rare with prooflike surfaces. Crossover from NGC MS64PL that was purchased from Teletrade.
Top 100 Vam-6 with the 8 repunched over the 7 in the date. Two serifs of 7 are clearly visible above the second 8 as two short spikes and crossbar of 7 is visible inside the upper loop of the 8.

Interesting variety, so called "Hot Lips" which can be seen without aid of magnification.
Hot 50 Vam-5 DDO Ear,eyelid and DDR 2 olives. While several doubled ears are known on the 1901-P Morgans, the doubled eyelid makes the Vam-5 stand out from the rest. The clear doubling is easy to see without magnification in most cases.

This 1921-D Vam-1B is showing good luster with big die cracks on the reverse. The die chip above R in AMERICA is very noticable and can be seen without magnification. Low population of only 43 so far graded with PCGS.

This 1921-S is the Vam-6A Doubled Stars, Motto, and upper reverse with die scratch. Obverse IV 3-Diagonal die scratch connecting B and U in PLURIBUS. Easy to detect with a standard loupe but can also be seen with the naked eye. The 6B is showing the same gouge but missing the S mint mark.
