关于此套币: This hasn't been a top priority for me, as I have more interest in Victorian and earlier dates. However, it's an interesting set.

The 1953 has 4 varieties:
Freeman 260, 1 + A, Rarity N ("Plastic Set" issued by the Mint)
Freeman 261, 1 + B, Rarity R4 (also the "Plastic Set")
Freeman 262, 2 + A, Rarity R6 (for circulation). There are also proofs of this die combination, and they very rare at R9
Freeman 263, 2 + B, Rarity C (for circulation). Most proofs also have this die combination

Obverse 1 - poorly defined, cross points to a bead; Obverse 2 - better defined, cross points between 2 beads
Reverse A - F in FARTHING points between 2 beads; Reverse B - F in FARTHING points to a bead, plus the wren has thinner, less curved claws.
The first one is most commonly found in the "plastic set"

1956 has the lowest mintage for any farthing in the 20th century. In spite of that, they are very easy to find in top grade.
