1679 2D S-3388 AU53 PCGS #768006

Self Submitted. May 2009. Rayner rated as Common. A beautiful strike with golden toning. Lettering is sharp with the exception of the "i" in GRATIA. It appears to have the bottom half raised with the upper half recessed into the planchet. Reverse I noted a larger space between the "I" and "B" of HIB.

Bel-Ami Fine Arts - Mar 2009. Have a raw lesser grade I intended to submit for this slot when I found this XF example already graded. Rayner rated as Common. A beautiful example with a noted doubling in GRATIA on the obverse. Reverse shows that both "E's" are broken at the top, while the "G" of MAG has extra metal within the center.

Self Submitted Apr 2012 Secure Plus. Rayner rated as Very Common. Though the lettering is crisp, obviously noted on the obverse is the broken "E" of DEI, and what appears to be a "M" coming between the R and A of Gratia. Reverse is unremarkable.
