关于此套币: Born after the purchase of my first complete Maundy set. Have watched the coins for years, but never took an interest. Feel maybe I should have jumped in sooner. Start date: Aug 2008. UPDATE 25 Mar 2009: With a growing interest in the Maundy coinage, brought the addition of a Maundy reference, and though it seems basic in nature, has some good information. Have also added stunning proof-like 1906 and 1907 complete Maundy sets in raw condition, and will be sending those off for grading. Will see if they are the first to capture the PL status since no proof editions of the Edward VII Maundy sets were minted. Update 7 Oct 2011 - While adding a 3 Pence type set, I noticed PCGS has changed the designation on the coins from MS to PL. Curious. According to either Spink or Rayner, only the 1902 issue was offered in a Proof edition. Spink designates it as a "matte" proof. Will be interesting to see if future gradings will produce MS and PL.
