HA - Apr 2018. Charles II 2 Pence 1680 MS64 PCGS, KM429. A stunning example with a combination of sea green and electric blue on the obverse, complemented by a reverse adorned in apricot gold with further blues decorating the edges. Anybody would be hard-pressed to find a more appealing specimen than this. From the Jamestown Collection That was the Heritage description of the coin. Coin just returned from PCGS corrected to reflect it as a 1686 James II 2 Pence, Spink # 3416.

Self-Submitted, Apr 2016. A beautiful deep Rainbow-Toned example of this tiny coin. Superb photo capture! Obverse: dash before GVLIELMVS, S is distorted, ET crooked alignment, appears to be originating from the bust image. "IA" of MARIA seem to be squeezed in and raised above ending of the "R". Reverse: top flan flaw, 1689 and top of crown weak, "A" of MAG distorted, No stop between MAG and BR, "B" looks more like "E", dashes instead of stops at different angles, Weak lettering through REX - ET - REGINA. Rayner rated as Common.

Rex Collection (Retired) - Aug 2018. What a rainbow on these deeply mirrored proof-like fields! This particular one will hard to match and my guess, impossible to surpass, but good luck trying!
