This collector chose not to bid for an 1870 PE SP 5 cent in SP66 when it recently came available, and this is not the first time this collector has passed on buying a SP65 or SP66 1870 PE 5 cent. In hindsight these failures to buy, or even bid on, these SP PE 1870 5 cent pieces, was a mistakes, because now that one piece has prevented the collector completing his 1870 RE SP set. Unfortunately this writer has never had great affinity for small coins like silver 5 cent pieces, given this collector's poor eyesight.
