The Goofball Set

描述: Inspired and given the name by my Friend Larry from Sea Eagle Coins. The goal of this set is to acquire "goofball" slabs, those coins where you ask yourself "Who in the heck would slab THAT?" Well, thanks to folks with more access to a submission form than sense, the set is born. The rules are simple, lowball set coins don't count, and I can't "make" any coins, these have to be obtained fair and square, already slabbed. My current favorite has to be the 55-D Lincoln in VF35.. so close to XF I feel it's really undergraded, perhaps PCGS would be so kind as to consider it for presidential review? :D

I think the most worrying is the AU50 '63-D Franklin Half.. not that somebody slabbed a refugee from a junk silver bag, but that NINE other people did the same thing!
