描述: United States Philippine proof coins, 1903-1908, are very rare in pristine condition. Examples in high grade that are also beautifully toned are the “holy grail”.
To give an idea of the rarity, the mintages of the five proof set years are as follows:.
1903 mintage 2,558,
1904 mintage 1,355,
1905 mintage 471,
1906 mintage 500,
1908 mintage 500.
Note that these mintage numbers are wildly misleading as the actual survival rate is extremely low.
