1936 S$1 MS66 PCGS #32396

This beautiful toned Silver Dollar was regraded as an MS66 in January 2022. Originally acquired in early 2020 and sent for regrade in late 2021, it sat in its original holder for over 10 years prior. Sharing the same die as the current PCGS plate coin this example displaying deep reds and blueish purples just makes you want to say “WOW”. Notes: *Die Break through King George V last jewelry of his Coronation Robe. (Same die as the current plate coin-Shares same Die Break)

1935 S$1 MS66 PCGS #32395

From the famous Belzberg collection this beautiful coin sat along side the famous 1911 silver dollar. Belzberg’s collection was the first major non-US collection graded by PCGS. Originally graded in 2002 as MS65, this amazing coin upgraded a full point to MS66 January 2022 after sitting in its original holder for over 15+years. This dollar is a real eye catcher displaying an amazing strike with original lustre and toning. Being the first commemorative coin in Canada, the 1935 dollar is my favourite obverse in the dollar series for its gorgeous King George V design. Notes: *Light die crack between NOR of ANNO/REGNI *Metal build up on RE of REGNI (Current plate coin and 3rd plate coin share a similar build up. Could be from the same die)
