RJPs Ike Dollar MS, Proof, CAM and DCAM. PCGS coin number set
描述:
This was a hard set to complete I cover all PCGS Coin Numbers for regular issue Ike Dollars there are 57 coins in this set and has taken me over 6 years for find them all. Some of these coins are down right rare but not expensive. Just today 8/1/2015 I just bought the last one needed for my set here. 1978-S CAM This in not a expensive coin unless it has beautiful rainbow toning but there are only 31 coin certified by PCGS in any grade. All of the others, there are hundreds if not thousands certified so 54 pieces were easy to find. If you look at the PCGS price guide the proof and CAMs are not even shown, you need to have a population book or go to the population report under the resources tab to see all of the coins that are certified, Coin Facts does show you the pop number but only one at a time and you need to have a subscription. ***************
I have two extra coins in this showcase and they are both errors. One is a 1972 E87409 clip planchet and the other is a label error where the rattler has a coin number 7430 1973-S for a clad Proof coin but the Ike is silver and should be a 7431 coin.******** The 1978 S CAM (87438) is now posted to the set. I just found the population report located under the resources tab, so you can see all the Ike dollars at once...

Super cool! Impressive showcase set! I’ve recently started collecting and registering with PCGS. Thank you.
Such a tremendous set! Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful photos too.
Thank You Sir Gawain
It was quite a challenge to find them all. I did not submit any for grading, I did have a couple that I thought I would submit but getting a Cameo strait grade was going to be hard. I did not think I could get a CAM from a DCAM.
That is AWESOME to collect 56 Eisenhower coins; and here I am trying to finish the shorter set; what I need to do is submit 7 of the coins in my posession to PCGS for grading.
Six years is a long time to commit, congratulations.
