Higley Coppers with Major Varieties (1737-1739)

Higley Coppers are among the rarest and most desirable of all Colonial coins. They were made by Dr. Samuel Higley and his brother John using copper from their own private mine. All of the coins have a deer on the obverse, with the notable exception of the unique "The Wheele Goes Round" variety. Ownership of a single Higley is a claim to fame and we salute anyone bold enough to attempt this audacious set.
