To this day John Highfill continues to be a very well known coin dealer. He has collected extensively throughout his career and his 144-piece commemorative collection was arguably his best. All the coins in the set graded at least MS65 and most were 66s and 67s. Some of the highlights included an Isabella Quarter in MS66, a California in MS67 and, tied for finest known, an MS67 Lynchburg.
