In recognition of the 60th Anniversary of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame (NMBHOF), the United States Mint launched a special commemorative coin program that included a special basketball theme on clad half dollar, silver dollar, and gold $5 coins. During this 2020 commemorative program, PCGS was proud to partner directly with the recipient organization, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, to create an all-star lineup of Signature Labels with some of the biggest names in basketball, past and present, to be paired with the Basketball Hall of Fame Commemorative Coins and other coins the NMBHOF approved. This set was produced by the NMBHOF and is mostly made up of the “Private Collection” designated coins directly from the Hall’s programs mixed with some American Silver Eagles. The set includes all the players who signed labels and were on the 1992 team, in addition to the two assistant coaches who were part of the commemorative coin program. Some of the signers in this collection signed only around 24 labels, and these are therefore going to be challenging to track down.

This set is a work in progress. As additional Signature Labels are introduced to the market, they will be added to this set. This set is for U.S. coins only. This set has bonuses: Silver +1 / Gold +2
