The Louis Eliasberg 20th Century Series set had some absolutely fabulous coins...and a few clunkers. Highlights of this great group of coins included the finest known (MS65) 1909-O $5 Indian, 1920-S $10 Indian in MS65, 1933 $10 Indian in MS65, the ultra rare 1907 Extremely High Relief $20 St. Gaudens in PR67, 1920-S $20 in MS65, and an MS65 example of the super rare 1927-D $20. There were also many spectacular condition examples of many of the other issues. Louis Eliasberg even owned the 1933 $20 from 1944 to 1952. The 1908 to 1915 Philadelphia issues were proofs, as was the collecting custom of the day. While there were a few very low grade examples, most notably some of the Branch Mint $5 and $10 Indians, overall this was a spectacular collection.
