Everyman Mint State Indian Head $2-1/2 Gold Date Set (1908-1929)

The $2-1/2 Indian set was issued from 1908 through 1929. The $2-1/2 Indian series is one of only two ever issued with an incuse design, the $5 Indian being the other. There are only 13 different dates, and all but the 1914 are fairly common. The 1914 is scarce above MS-64 , but not rare. It is a very small step up to the Basic Set from the Date set in terms of the number of coins required, but one of the two additional coins is the 1911-D, one of the key dates of the 20th century.
