This is a very nice gold coin . the strike is clear and the fin details aren't muddied by the cameo as sometimes can happen with extremely small font ,so i have seen. This should be quite the discussion worthy coin series. It would be well suited for a coffeetable book on low mintage ultra modern coinage.
Slighlty over priced but the eye appeal is awsome for grade and it has no discoloration from oxidation spots , just normal chocolate brown patina on a well used coin. I still think it was a sweet pickup . they dont exactly make new ones .
Iridescent toning, lusterous fields and more design intact than missing. Great eye appeal.
Nice eye appeal to this one. The face isn't super full of contact marks and the master hub doubling is easily seen, though it. Is not a super wide spread,it is seen easily under a loupe.
While i definatly over paid according go the guides, the quality of this coin makes it feel like a bargain. The cameo is,so very nice. The strike must have been done with a newer die to have cameo at all .while i agree it is not deep cameo, the cameo is full and quite "thick" and the strike is crisp and sharp. The fields are extremely bright and reflective .
The toning is extremely nice, remanicent of the fine fire arms finishes of the early 1900's. A rich but subdued blue with straw colored highlights.seriously it woukd be luger like if the blue was dark. Sweeet coin!

A very nice looking proof , i love trying to find the best i can afford , i really try to pay attention to the coins themselves and this is a gokd example.

This is seriously one of the nicest looking coins i have ever seen. It deserves its everest sticker! With only a slight nick on the reverse rim above the F in "of" , it is flawless . its just amazing how much better it is than the others I have seen.

This is clearly a light strike uncirculated coin . That is why we have to inspect our pieces. You can never be sure if you go on label alone. The pictures say it all.

This has major Cuds as determined by looking at Cuds.com. The mark St.Gaudens is pointing at is the strike through. Very cool and need attribution baddly.

Value is actually based on ms 63 Versions of this same date and veriety for listed for sale in a summer sale(2019) catalog from a company i go through. They have better prices than most everywhere i have looked , for the items i personally look for at least, but as they are newer to me , i wont give them free advertising so i wont mention the name yet. I will if they treat me well .
