CAC ex. Bel Air. Tied for finest known. A beautiful old time seated dollar with browns, greens, and lavender toning on both the obverse and reverse. Devices fully struck and fields exceptionally clean. Apologies for the dismally poor picture. Will work to get a better picture of this beauty as she deserves it.
CAC. This coin was in an PCGS MS65 non-CAC holder and downgraded it to a MS64+. Agree with CAC that it is a wonderful 64, but not quite all there for a 65. Now properly graded.
CAC. One of only two non-mint state coins in the collection. Hard decision to make, but staying consistent to having CAC examples was important to me. The spectacular MS64 CAC that is clearly the finest known by five grades with next CAC approved examples being three AU58's. I have had opportunities to purchase two of the three AU58's CAC approved and this was my first choice. She really is nice with original unmessed with skin and toning underneath that blues, golds and hints of amber. I have had numerous people who know this series well tell me she is the second finest known to exist today in their opinion.
