1859 $1 PR66 PCGS #7002

Dollar from a Gene Gardener Original Proof Set. The obverse color of Lady Liberty really is teal with a mauve center.

1861 $1 PR65+ PCGS #7004

This coin may be one of the single most beautiful Proof Seated Dollars extant. The colors spill out in the order of a prism when twirled in the light. Proof 65+! What was PCGS thinking?

1862 $1 PR65 PCGS #7005

1862 is a more difficult year to find with spectacular color. The obverse of this one is an exception. (The reverse probably sat on felt for decades.)

1863 $1 PR66CAM PCGS #87006

The cameo contrast on the obverse is really nice for such a heavily toned coin.

1865 $1 PR64+ CAM PCGS #87008

Uncommon toning pattern for a dollar.

1867 $1 PR66+ CAM PCGS #87015

Ex Simpson. NGC Proof 67 Cameo with a star.

1869 $1 PR67 PCGS #7017

Highest graded non-cameo 1869 @ PCGS.

1870 $1 PR65 PCGS #7018

Looks like an under graded cameo in hand. A coin with so much lime, forest, and teal green is quite rare.

1871 $1 PR66+ PCGS #7019

Was previously graded NGC Proof 67. The Legend Auctions' Regency Auction XXIII picture more accurately represents how colorfully beautiful this coin is. (The coin was unsold in that auction.)

1872 $1 PR67 PCGS #7020

Highest graded non-cameo @ PCGS. Fields look like glass. 1872 is harder to find with beautiful toning than many other dates.

1873 $1 Seated PR66+ PCGS #7021

Strong strike. Many 73 Proofs are particularly weak on the reverse. The colors on this coin are spectacular.
