Liberty Seated Dollars Complete Variety Set, Proof (1836-1857)

Start with two Original Gobrecht dollars, add three ultra-rare restrikes from the middle of the century and end the set with the "common" 1857. Common? That’s written in jest, of course, as there were only 50 pieces struck in the Proof format in 1857. Classic coins abound in this series, and while a Gem-quality set can’t be put together for any price, you’ll find these big coins are as beautiful as they are challenging once you get involved.
