Halfcrown, second issue, 1819, small laureate head right, rev. crowned shield in Garter (ESC 2102 (623); S.3789), lustrous with attractive golden tone around peripheries, virtually as struck, in NGC holder, graded MS62 (Cert. #4861254-008). Purchased Spink 19006, Lot 410 (Sept 2019). Crossed from NGC.

Halfcrown, 1820, edge milled, 14.11g, 12h (Pywell-Phillips 482; ESC 2105 [625]; S.3789), a cracking example with electric blue tone framing the peripheries of lustrous original surfaces, bagmarks and obv rim nick, good extremely fine, the reverse magnificently proof-like.
