CarolinaRegistry Dos Reginae Collection

I served 3 years in the Air Force in England, stationed at several RAF bases around the country. I have a lot of respect for the grit and determination of the British people, the skill and devotion of the RAF Spitfire pilots and the leadership and volunteer service of Queen Elizabeth during the horrific London Blitz. I was fortunate to be there at the young queen's Coronation Parade-albeit standing in the middle of the Trafalgar Square fountain after being snapped off a rowdy conga line after two many gin and tonics.

Shortly after I returned I met the love of my life in 1955, was lucky enough to win her hand in 1956 and we've been married and raising kids, grand children and a great grand child ever since. This photo was made on the auditorium stage after Dianne was named Miss Columbus (Ga,). She went on to place second in the talent competition in the Miss Georgia pageant.

Granted I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. But I didn't just fall off the turnip truck either :+)
