1930 2 Kr X#1 1000 Years Althing Brass Matte MS64 PCGS #151799

Bought coin from seller 1916coin (China/Hong Kong) and it was my first coin to be purchased for this set that I had been researching earlier in the year. The population of this coin that has been graded by PCGS is very low. Total of 34; in MS64 Pop is 14, and Pop Higher is 3. Two graded as MS65 and one a MS66. None higher.

One of three coins I bid on through Stacks/Bowers Gallery, for $400 plus $80 for Bidding Fee, ($480). Each coin was uncirculated and were listed as uncirculated coins that would grade as an MS coin. One coin listed of the three, the 5KR, was the best-looking coin from all of my research and looking at various sellers on eBay for non-graded coins, this turned out to be a great investment. The other two coins, 2KR was graded as MS 63, and the 10KR coins was graded as MS64. Way higher than another seller who listed this same type of coin as a HIGH-GRADE coin, which I bought for an absorbent price; however, I submitted it to PCGS, and it came back as a MS62. Not even close to being HG. On 9/10/21 PCGS received this coin for grading, and it came back a few days ago as an MS65, which is what I expected. I had another 5KR that I sent also that same day, and it was returned as an MS63. Still higher that the high-grade coin I purchased earlier.

One of three coins I purchased from SBG for $480 (including BF), and it was sent to PCGS and returned as an MS64. Cost from each coin was arrived by dividing $480 by 3, and getting $160 for each coin. I could add the $27 from PCGS for Grading Fee. May do that later.
