1806 1/2C Small 6, No Stems VF30BN PCGS #1093

For a type set 1806 is certainly the year to target for a nice coin at a decent price even though this year had one of the smaller mintages compared to 1804, 1805, 1807 or 1808. My coin is a dark brown and the reverse still shows nice detail for a VF30.

1828 13 Star Variety

1814 1C Plain 4 VG10BN PCGS #1576

This 1814 Classic Head cent is dark and porous which was fairly common for this coin due to the copper stock used. 1814 was also the last year this design was used and this coin is the plain 4 variety (no cross bar on the 4 in the date) which was the less common variety for this year.

1805 25C G6 PCGS #5313

Great toning on this coin.

1818 25C VG10 PCGS #5322

This large variety Capped Bust Quarter has a normal date (no 8 over 5). A variety 1 capped bust features larger diameter, larger denticles and the motto E Pluribus Unum on the reverse.

1806 50C O-116 Pointed 6, Stem VG10 PCGS #39319

I like the rose color toning on the bust of this coin. This is an Overton 116 with a pointed 6 and a stem through the claw on the reverse. There is also a die break through the date and runs into the stars on the obverse.

1822 50C Overton 114 VF30 PCGS #39602

The O-114 variety of this coin refers to the 7 star on the obverse that almost touches the cap of Liberty.

1838 50C AU53 PCGS #6177

Type 3 (Half Dol. reverse) Reeded Edge. Two year type coin with this Philadelphia 1938 example being the most common.

1872 $1 F15 PCGS #6968

I did have this coin sent into PCGS for restoration. I felt the coin had some environmental surface issues that in the long term would affect the coin.
