1796 C2 Liberty Cap Half Cent, With Pole, R4. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as GENUINE, with code #98 for damage. The coin exhibits G5+ details and great, medium brown color, but the planchet has been beat up and looks a bit wavy. However, the date is 100% BOLD and plenty of the reverse details are strong, too. I love key-date coins like this because although it has minor problems, the color and eye appeal is still decent, the date is completely bold, and the light damage makes the coin much more "affordable." YES, I know how crazy it sounds to call an $ggnnn.00 coin "affordable," but this is a 1796 HALF CENT folks!
