The Barber specialist, David Feigenbaum (DLRC), helped me put my first set of choice AU Barber halves together in the early-to-mid 80s, prior to certified coins. A few years later I traded the set back to him when I was pursuing a gem set of Walkers. Choice AU Barbers have a great appeal and other than 'finest known' are probably the most difficult condition to collect. Putting this set together has brought back some great memories.
