The Eliasberg proof $20 St. Gaudens set was phenominal quality. All eight coins were Gem quality and 5 of the 8 were Superb PR66. The PR66 examples were the rare Roman Finish 1910, and the 1908, 1913, 1914, and 1915. All eight coins were acquired by Louis Eliasberg when he purchased the fabulous John Clapp collection in 1942. This was one of the finest sets of Proof $20 St. Gaudens ever assembled.
