19 coin set of gold half eagles from the Mint on Carson Street.
Rusty Goe from Southgate coins served as the architect of this fine set which began life in earnest on May 5, 2004 in response to an ad he placed in a major Numismatic publication.
The set has undergone "tweaks" over the years but the latest and greatest (September 2012) came in the form of a total resubmission of coins to PCGS in order to establish their new pedigree as "The Drummer Collection" -
all coins are splendidly displayed in new PCGS edge-view holders and consecutively numbered...
The Drummer Collection reborn!
All submission work was done courtesy of my friends at Southgate Coins in Reno.
As a life member of the C4OA (Carson City Coin Collectors of America club founded by Rusty Goe), I can now proudly display this rare and special set of historic coins at our many club functions.
Thank you for viewing these treasures from the good-old "Wild West" days.

Your kind words are appreciated Parlayer. My set GPA averages between VF-30 and 35 and is considered a "mid-grade" set of well matched, problem free coins. It's estimated that 55 to 65 complete sets are possible in all grades and most of those sets would GPA far lower than mine here. All-in-all this is a rare and desirable collection regardless of grade.
Nice, Good Work. A hard job even in lower grades.
