From the Experts at PCGS
The Eliasberg $5 Indian set was a mixed bag. There were two phenominal coins...the spectacular MS65 1910-S, and the finest known example of the ultra rare in high grades 1909-O. But some of the other Branch Mints were very low grade. And Eliasberg had Proof examples of the 1908 to 1915 Philadelphia issues, as was the collecting custom of his day. His famous 1909-O sold for $30,800 at the 1982 auction of his gold coins. Sixteen years later the coin would bring $374,000 at the Dr. Thaine Price collection auction.
