The Eliasberg "Complete Variety" set of 1793 to 1857 large cents is of mixed quality. The set is not quite complete, and Eliasberg did not have any of the "Big Five"…the 1793 Strawberry Leaf, the 1794 starred reverse, the 1795 reeded edge, and the two 1795 Jefferson Heads…and he was missing other varieties. His set does have several fantastic coins, including a 1793 with periods Chain cent in MS66BN, a 1794 "Head of 1794" Liberty Cap in MS66BN, and the finest known 1793 Liberty Cap grading MS64BN. For some reason the Eliasberg Large Cents, while very nice, did not quite match the spectacular quality of his silver and gold coins.
