My goals: obtain every die marriage and remarriage in problem-free condition. I seek coins in AU or better for R-4 and more common die marriages, XF or better for R-5 die marriages, and VF or better for R-6 and rarer die marriages. I prize eye appeal and color, and love an original coin with "character." In 2023 I started a side quest to obtain a gem (MS65) for each of the nine years.

I’m 73 and have collected coins as long as I can remember. With always a middle class income it’s taken till now to finally reach collecting the die varieties of half dimes. What a great journey this hobby offers. Congratulations. Rick Sorenson
