The Eliasberg circulation strike Barber half dollars is one of the finest sets ever assembled. Many of the coins were purchased by JM Clapp and John Clapp directly from the mints in the year of issue. There were many "finest known" examples in the Eliasberg set. Highlights include the 1895-O in MS66, 1896-O in MS66, 1897-O in MS66, 1897-S in MS66, 1899-O in MS66, 1900-O in MS66, 1900-S in MS67, and 1904-O in MS66.
