Old Coin Dawg ---Kennedy halves

关于此套币: When the Kennedy half dollar came out in 1964 I was very excited. I had the pleasure of meeting Jack Kennedy when he was in California running for President of the United States. As a very serious coin collector I bought as many Kennedy halves as I could afford. When the U.S. came off of the silver standard I was fearful that it would end the Kennedy half, but it was only down-graded in silver content. But it was later reduced to being a clad-coin in circulation strikes. The Kennedy half is still being minted today and is a very popular coin with most collectors. I am still working on my set trying to improve and upgrade it to the best of my ability. I very much enjoy my coins and compiling sets, my hope is that you will enjoy them as much or more than I do.
