Originally slabbed as PF65RD by NGC

1959 5C MS64 PCGS #4065

Formerly in an ANACS "Black Beauty" Slab, this coin has exceptional mint luster.

1916 10C Barber MS61 PCGS #4870

Heritage Coin - My First Barber

1934 25C Light Motto N1 PCGS #5794

I have no idea why PCGS felt this coin had been cleaned other than the myriad of die polish that resides in the fields.

1943-S 25C Doubled Die Obverse VG8 PCGS #5823

Well Worn Original Coin.

1956 25C MS65 PCGS #5860

Originally an NGC MS66

1959 25C MS64 PCGS #5866

This is a Type B Reverse Washington. Type B reverses were intended for Proof Coin Production.

1976-D 25C Clad MS66 PCGS #5897

Homemade Toned Beauty

1971 50C MS66 PCGS #6716

Nice Full Rims with a minimum of distracting marks in the field. Jusr barely an MS66 but finding clean examples with Full Rims can be quite challenging.

1973 50C MS65 PCGS #6720

Attributed by James Wiles of CONECA as DDR-001 1-R-I-CCW, Stage A, EDS

Raw Submission

1976-S 50C Silver, DDO FS-101 MS64 PCGS #6729

Wow! Subtle yet distinct doubling on this coin. The motto for the 1976-S 40% Kennedy Dollar is always so mushy compared to the rest of the coin which makes this DDO difficult to locate!

1976-S 50C Silver, DDO FS-101 MS67 PCGS #6729

Wow! Subtle yet distinct doubling on this coin. The motto for the 1976-S 40% Kennedy Dollar is always so mushy compared to the rest of the coin which makes this DDO difficult to locate!

1977-D 50C MS64 PCGS #6732

This is a DDO coin pulled from a roll. Unfortunately, PCGS currently does not attribute these at this point in time.

1977-D 50C MS66 PCGS #6732

Nice Mint Set Coin as indicated by the packaging marks on the reverse shield.

1978-D 50C MS66 PCGS #6734

Nearly Prooflike Mint Set Coin IMO.

1983-D 50C MS66 PCGS #6744

NGC Crossover 1/1

1987-P 50C MS67 PCGS #6751

Highly Lustrous Example!

1996-P 50C MS67 PCGS #6769

Not too sure about this one. The cheek and shield are clean but the coin has an overall rough look to it. Perhaps from an older die set?

2001-P 50C MS62 PCGS #6780

The Die cracks on the reverse nearly encircle the entire outer ring of stars. The crack is so bad that the coin has a convexed appearance on the Reverse!

1970-S 50C PR69 PCGS #6806

Homemade

1887 $1 MS64 PCGS #7172

Gold Points Awards Coin!

1921 $1 High Relief, Peace MS63 PCGS #7356

The luster in this particular piece overshadows any of the field marks.

1971 $1 MS65 PCGS #7406

High luster, relatively clear field except for a planchet flaw on the right obv field and some chicken scratching on the right rev fields. Other than that a good strong MS65 Coin.

1971-D $1 AU53 PCGS #7407

Friendly Eagle Variety (RDV-006)

1971-D $1 AU58 PCGS #7407

Filled Dies Obv/Rev Full Reeding

1971-D $1 MS60 PCGS #7407

Not a true MS60 in my opinion but given the weakness of the strike this is vey difficult to judge.

1971-D $1 MS64 PCGS #7407

A Nice 2% Planchet Clip at about 5:30!

1971-S $1 Silver MS63 PCGS #7408

Very Close Double Struck Coin with no Rotation. First appearances make you think Machine Doubling until you observe the duplicate R in LIBERTY and the unusual Mint Mark.

1971-S $1 Silver MS63 PCGS #7408

Very Close Double Struck Coin with no Rotation. First appearances make you think Machine Doubling until you observe the duplicate R in LIBERTY and the unusual Mint Mark.

1971-S $1 Silver MS63 PCGS #7408

Very Close Double Struck Coin with no Rotation. First appearances make you think Machine Doubling until you observe the duplicate R in LIBERTY and the unusual Mint Mark.

1972 $1 Type 3 MS63 PCGS #7409

A Nice 3% Planchet Clip on this Type 3 Coin!

1972-D $1 FR2 PCGS #7410

Thanks Pat!

1972-D $1 FR2 PCGS #7410

Thanks Pat!

1972-D $1 MS62 PCGS #7410

While Filled dies can be common on lessor sized coins, finding these on these large IKE Dolars can be a challenge,

1972-D $1 MS62 PCGS #7410

Not the best grade but then for 1972 Denver Clips are not that common and a double clip was even better. Throw in a Stage C Far Double Talon on the Obverse and we've got a winner.

1972-D $1 MS64 PCGS #7410

1972-D's are unusual to have clips of any kind.

1973 $1 MS64 PCGS #7412

1% Clip at 10 o'clock on a Mint Set Only coin. “P” Mintmarks are much more scarcer than any “D” Mintmark clipped planchet Ikes.

1973-D $1 MS64 PCGS #7413

Being a Mint Set ONLY coin, the 1973 Eisenhower is unusual to have any type of mint defects at all. This strike through kinda "slipped" through!

1974-D $1 MS63 PCGS #7416

A 5% Clipper! Purchased from Harry Keese at a Colorado Springs, CO Coin Show in 2006 after some gentle persuasion to remove it from his Capital Plastics Type Set Display. Why keep a broken coin in there anyway??

1976-D $1 Type 1 MS64 PCGS #7420

A Really nice 3% Clip on this Type 1 Coin!

1976-D $1 Type 1 MS64 PCGS #7420

Originally in an NGC Slab. This is a nice 20% Clip (Incomplete Planchet). Nice Blakesless Effect opposite the missing portion of the Planchet. Clips this large are very uncommon and usually demand hefty premiums!

1976-D $1 Type 2 MS64 PCGS #7421

Originally in an NGC Slab. This is a nice 5% Straight Clip (Incomplete Planchet). Strong Blakesless Effect opposite the missing portion of the Planchet! Straight Clips are created when the blank punch overlaps either the end of the clading strip or the edge of the clading strip. For Eisenhower Dollars they are quite unusual IMO.

1977-D $1 N1 PCGS #7424

Straight Clips are scarce on Eisenhower Dollars which is why I could not resist tha particular coin when it was offered. Severe scratches on the Reverse prevent the coin from ever grading but the scarcity of the Error Type is why I had it slabbed.

1977-D $1 MS64 PCGS #7424

Straight Clips are scarce on Eisenhower Dollars which is why I could not resist this particular coin when it was offered.

1978 $1 MS64 PCGS #7425

A Nice 3% Planchet Clip!

1978 $1 MS64 PCGS #7425

Sintered Planchet through Improper Annealing!

1978 $1 MS64 PCGS #7425

Sintered Planchet through Improper Annealing!

1978 $1 MS65 PCGS #7425

Lightly Sintered Planchet through Improper Annealing!

1978 $1 MS66 PCGS #7425

Nice example of Improper Annealing which creates the dark sintering on the coins surface. Originally purchased from Teletrade as an unattributed Error coin at a vary reasonable price.

1978-D $1 MS65 PCGS #7426

Talon Heads are uncommon to find on 1978-D Eisenhowers and this coin is a fine example.

1943 25C DDO FS-102 MS65 PCGS #145619

Nice Unattributed DDO-006 (FS-102 CONECA 6-O-I)

1964 25C FS-901, Type B Reverse MS64 PCGS #145654

Nice Slate colored toning on both Obverse and reverse.

1964-D 50C TDO FS-103 MS63 PCGS #146010

PQ for the Grade IMO. This coin also has RPM-006.

1964-D/D 50C RPM FS-503 MS65 PCGS #146078

Nicely Toned Example.

1970-D 25C DDO FS-101 (FS-027.3) AU55 PCGS #146082

This raw find, to the best of my knowledge, was the first graded by PCGS.

1970-D 25C DDR FS-801 MS65 PCGS #146084

1970-D DDR FS-801. Available in US Mint Sets but this coin was purchased from James Wiles.

1972-D 50C No "FG" FS-901 AU50 PCGS #147888

This coin was originally an ANACS AU55 (Old Small Holder) which has very strong luster so I'm a bit confused over the AU-50 grade.

1972-D 50C No "FG" FS-901 AU58 PCGS #147888

Fully Lustrous Coin with only the SLIGHTEST hint of wear on the vertical ridge of the cheek Folks. What this means, is you have to really look hard to find any trace of wear.

1971-S $1 Silver Peg Leg FS-401 MS65 PCGS #148405

The 1971-S PegLeg 40% Silver Eisenhower is considered rare by many IKE Collectors. This coin was purchased as I've never found one in the thousands I have searched. High grade examples are even rarer to locate since 1971 was the inaugural year for these coins. As an added bonus, this particular Die Variety is a DDO coin (DDO-007)

2009-P 50C MS67 PCGS #407277

Special Thanks to Philip Shattuck!

2011-P 50C MS67 PCGS #505191

Mint Set Coin

1971-D $1 "Friendly Eagle" FS-901 Type 1 Reverse RDV-006 MS65 PCGS #509951

Beautiful Example of the RDV-006 Eisenhower Dollar (Dec 1999 Errorscope) and recently written about in the July 2007 Numismatist as the Freindly Eagle Pattern Eisenhower Dollar. Hard to find in this particular grade.

1971-D $1 "Friendly Eagle" FS-901 Type 1 Reverse RDV-006 MS65 PCGS #509951

Another Beautiful Friendly Eagle Pattern Coin! (RDV-006)

1971 $1 DDR-005 PR68DCAM PCGS #97428

Absolutely surprising find in the Dollar Bin of a local coin shop since the doubling on the reverse is nothing short of spectacular!
