关于此套币: In my opinion, one of America's most beautiful coin designs of all-time, but not as long-lived (1916-1930) as most other U.S. coin series. Not a real easy set to put together in AG03 or lower grades because of how easily the dates wore off of the 1916-1924 coins. All coins dated 1916-1924 have a raised date which wore off much easier than the recessed dates of the latter Type 3 coins of 1925-1930. With that being the case, only the 1916 and the 1917 Type 1 coins, because of their specific diagnostics, can be identified without a legible date. Therefore, finding lower grade dates for the 1917 Type 1 coins is less challenging than for that of the 1917 Type 2 coins and for the years following it. Some dates in the series have a suffix number which appears only once, so only that last number in the date is needed to know what that date is (1921, 1923, 1924 and 1925).
The 1916 SLQ is the key coin and is a great rarity in all grades; finding one graded AG03 or lower is a true challenge for any low ball collector.
