Mexican Ferdinand VII (Draped Bust) 8 Reales, Circulation Strikes (1811-1821)

In 1811, the style of Mexican 8 Reales changed from a militaristic, armored portrait of Ferdinand VII to one of a more peaceful, draped bust. This set includes every combination of dates and assayers struck from 1811 to 1821, inclusive. High grade examples are very difficult to obtain and there is one really rare coin in this series -- the 1814/3-HJ overdate.
