Mexican 8 Reales Durango Mint Basic Set, Circulation Strikes (1824-1895)

The Durango Mint was located in the capital city of the Mexican State of Durango. Production of Cap & Rays 8 Reales began early (1824) at the Durango Mint and ended in 1895. Although this is a large set, the majority of the coins are common; only the 1865-DoLT is excessively rare. Interesting varieties include the 1830 and 1831 "B on eagle's claw"; the 1836 "M on snake"; and the 1842 "B below cactus"; along with many overdates.
