Coin of the Year by Krause Publications (1982-present)

Every year since 1984, Krause Publications has announced the "Coin of the Year" awards given to outstanding new issues that were minted two years prior. Categories include best silver and gold, best crown, most historically significant, most popular, best traded, most artistic, most innovative, most inspirational, best contemporary event, people's choice, and of course, best coin of the year. Don't think that this set is easy just because these are modern coins. Many have very low mintages and some might be very difficult to find. What a wonderful way to collect coins of the world!
