The "Reverse N" on this variety refers to the first N of ENGLAND, which is backwards on several varieties of the Large Planchet Pine Tree Shillings.  The N on the obverse may or may not be reversed.  On one variety all four N's (one on the obverse and three on the reverse) are backwards (Noe 11).  Collectively, the Reverse N varieties are not rare, though individual die varieties can be elusive.  We know of at least twenty demonstrably different Uncirculated examples, with perhaps six MS65 examples duking it out for top honors (we tend to favor the colorful PCGS MS65 from the John Ford Collection and Dwight Manley Collections).
