An estimated 15 to 20 Standish Barry Threepence are known.  The quality of the survivors varies, as many are struck off-center or have varying areas of weakness, thus they are difficult to grade and rank.  Perhaps the most impressive example is the one from the Garrett Collection.  That example is well-centered on a correctly-sized planchet, and it shows full denticles on both sides.  The only areas of weakness on that piece are on the obverse figure's hair and on the lower left H of THREE on the reverse.  The highest grade assigned by a certification service is PCGS AU55; that piece is struck on a slightly under-sized planchet and has a small edge clip from 6:00 to 7:00 -- even so, it set a record price of $143,750.  The Ford example, graded Uncirculated, sold for $86,250 in 2004.
