1793 C2 Liberty Cap half cent, smooth bust line, R3. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as F12, and it s lovely example with glossy medium brown color, smooth surfaces, bold details that are even on both sides, and nice eye appeal. This variety only has one die state, and this example does show the typical rotated reverse. A glass shows some light circulation marks plus an as-struck shallow planchet fissure above OF-A on the reverse. A very good-looking example. Ex-Shawn A. Yancey #12120; Furnace Run Collection.
