1794 C7 Liberty Cap half cent, High Relief Head, R5+. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as Fine Details Excessive Corrosion. The details are certainly Fine or better, very strong and very even on both sides. Not sure I would call this "excessive corrosion," because the surfaces are just very faintly rough and they do retain plenty of gloss with dark chocolate brown color. No surface corrosion, just light even granularity throughout. The eye appeal is still positive and overall this is an acceptable example. Rough surfaces make the die state determination a challenge, but there are no obvious clash marks so I am going to go with M1.0. The reverse die crack through between ED on the reverse is bold.
