The 1794 Sheldon-21 is a fairly common coin, but one which is difficult to locate in Mint State. The PCGS CoinFacts Condition Census lists three Mint State examples, including an impressive PCGS MS65+. This obverse of this variety is known as the "Flat Pole" variety because the pole widens toward the end. Also, this is one of the "Head of 1794" varieties, all of which are believed to have been engraved by Robert Scot.
