1795 C2a Liberty Cap half cent, Lettered Edge Punctuated Date, R3. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as F12, and it was not sent to CAC due to time constraints. This is a medium-dark brown original example with average surfaces and eye appeal. The notable marks are a dull nick at the center of the portrait, plus a tiny rim nick above the C in AMERICA on the reverse. My EAC grade is VG10 net VG8+.
