1795 C6a Liberty Cap half cent, Plain Edge No Pole Thin Planchet, R2. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as VF25, and CAC-certified as CHOICE for the assigned grade. They don't come any nicer than this! Original medium chocolate brown color, smooth surfaces, bold details, great eye appeal, CAC-certified. Hopefully the photos will tell the story for this one - it is exceptionally nice! As a bonus this is an early die state example, M1.0 with no trace of bulge right of Y. Purchased in 2018 for $2975 from Coin Rarities Online; Furnace Run Collection.
