1795 C4 Liberty Cap half cent, Plain Edge Punctuated Date, R3. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as VF25, and it is a sharp and very attractive example with nice medium tan brown color and good eye appeal. A strong glass does show some fine hairlines on the obverse and some tiny nicks on the reverse, but these are not distracting and certainly do not diminish the overall really attractive presentation. M1.0 late; faint crack at T only, no additional reverse cracks. Very pretty and my EAC grade would be F15+. Purchased from Anaconda Rare Coins on 2007; Furnace Run Collection.
