1795 Overton 105a is a later die state of O-105, with die cracks being the deciding difference. The most visible one runs from the rim below the fifteenth star (lowest on the right side) through a point of the star to the tip of the bust. Other cracks develop along the edges of the stars closest to the rims on either side. Another crack runs from the rim above the B of LIBERTY, through that letter, then to Liberty's hair.
O-105 and O-105a are about of equal rarity, and both very scarce. The finest 1795 O-105a is the PCGS MS62 sold in a 2013 SAtack's/Bowers sale and which was previously from the Eliasberg collection. No other Mint State example is known.
