专家评论

David Akers (1975/88)

This is an underrated date when compared to the 1795, 1797 Heraldic Eagle, 1799, 1801 and 1803. It is considerably more rare than those five dates and it is not much more common than the 1796 and 1804. I have seen a couple of extraordinary uncirculated examples and have several lesser mint state specimens as well. However, VF-AU specimens predominate with the known examples spread fairly evenly among those three grades.
