1803 C2 Draped Bust half cent, R4. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as F12, and CAC-certified as CHOICE for the assigned grade. Dark glossy chocolate brown with original surfaces and nice eye appeal. This coin came out of an NGC F15 holder, and it is certainly that sharpness by anybody's standards. My EAC grade would be F12 net VG10+ for some minor nicks only, including a tiny rim nick at K2 obverse. This coin comes with a green envelope that says Ex-CVM 02/02/12 and "2nd in 2013 EAC 1/2 cent happening." M2.0 with light cracks tops of ATES OF and MERIC.
