1803 C3 Draped Bust half cent, R2. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as EF45, and it is a very sharp and solid example for the grade. Medium peanut butter brown color with a splash of darker chocolate in the right obverse field. Minor nicks only with good eye appeal. The most notable sign of contact is a faint hairline from the top of the ear extending upward toward K11, but it requires a glass to see.
