1804 C7 Draped Bust half cent, Spiked Chin, R4. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as F15, and CAC-certified as CHOICE for the assigned grade. Original chocolate brown with minor circulation marks equal to the grade. I do not think the surfaces and color are necessarily choice, but I do think the details are exceptionally sharp and even for the grade, very close to VF20, hence the CAC certification. I love rim breaks and this one provides: M5.0 with large reverse cud above OF-A which does not touch the top of the O.
